Beach bungalows and cottages with narrow driveways. Street parking is competitive—reserve your spot 24hrs ahead. We navigate the tight residential streets daily.
Montana Avenue
Upscale residential with tree-lined streets. Many homes have limited driveway access. Early morning moves (8-9 AM) work best before shopping traffic picks up.
Main Street
Mixed residential/commercial zone with strict parking enforcement. Third Street Promenade is pedestrian-only—we use adjacent streets for nearby moves.
Downtown SM
High-rises require elevator reservations 2+ weeks ahead. Most buildings have strict move-in windows (8AM-5PM weekdays). Loading zones fill fast.
North of Montana
Premium homes with larger properties. Some streets have permit-only parking. We coordinate with building managers for seamless access.
Wilshire Corridor
Condo buildings along Wilshire have specific move-in procedures. Contact your HOA 2 weeks early. We know the requirements for most buildings.
Don't Get a Parking Ticket on Moving Day
Santa Monica parking enforcement is legendary (and not in a good way). Here's how to make sure your moving truck doesn't get ticketed or towed:
Permit Quick Facts:
- Apply at least 24 hours before your move
- Maximum reservation: 72 hours
- Cannot reserve red curbs, ADA zones, or bike lanes
- Apply online through City of Santa Monica
Pro Tip: Third Street Promenade is pedestrian-only. For nearby moves, we use 2nd or 4th Street for truck access.
